Sometimes, all you need is the perfect blend of distorted guitars, a groovy rhythm, and a (vulgar) display of sheer power. Thankfully, this is precisely what Pantera excels at. Their album Vulgar Display of Power, released in 1992, features some of their most iconic tracks like Walk, This Love, and Hollow. The record boasts a diverse range of sounds, with catchy and almost hypnotic distorted riffs.
Today, we’re highlighting the second track of this album, A New Level. This song is a rollercoaster ride, with multiple tempo changes, a blend of heavy and melodic sections, and a crazy guitar solo by the legendary Dimebag Darrell.
That’s all for now. Enjoy this vulgar display of power by Pantera. See you tomorrow.
Cheers!
