As of lately, I really enjoy listening to R&B. Something about a groovy drum pattern, thick bass, and meaningful lyrics gets me. Killing Me Softly With His Song by the Fugees is one of those tracks that I love to listen to. The whole tune is so smooth and polished that I didn’t realize how good it was when I played it for the first time. I still hear new things when I play it now. This is perfect if I need to focus on work but do want to listen to music. The fact that it is so smooth makes it super easy to listen to. This 1996 R&B cover of Killing Me Softly With His Song was inspired by the original tune, by Roberta Flack, from 1972. The original is a bit calmer and more classical, giving both tracks an advantage. You now have a choice. Listen to both songs and decide which one you prefer.
