During my lunch break, I decided to take a brief stroll. As I walked, I came across a little stand selling vinyl records. Intrigued, I took a moment to go through the selection. Although I didn’t recognize much of what was available, one particular record sleeve caught my eye. Its vibrant, colourful artwork was reminiscent of the style of Piet Mondriaan.

Upon further inspection, I discovered it was David Sanborn’s 1982 album, As We Speak. Sanborn is a fusion artist who blends jazz and pop music to create a laid-back, groovy sound. One of the standout tracks is Love Will Come Someday, a smooth and jazzy tune with a great groove. Slow bass and saxophone drive the song, while Sanborn’s vocals tell a story about love.
That’s all for now. Enjoy this pacifying piece on this beautiful day. See you tomorrow.
Cheers!
